Seminars & Classes

Cotton Harvest Safety Seminar

Each September, KCFB partners with the Tulare County Farm Bureau, State Compensation Insurance Fund, Tulare and Kings UC Cooperative Extentions, Tulare and Kings County Fire Departments, California Highway Patrol, and Mid Valley Gin to sponsor a safety seminar for growers just prior to the cotton harvest.  Issues covered include, but are not limited to: first aid, tractor and highway safety, and heat stress.

The seminar satisfies cotton harvest safety training required under the SB 198 program.  The seminar is offered in both English and Spanish and materials are provided to attendees.

Please contact the KCFB office at 559-584-3557 for more information.
